French Wine Dinner 2/26

February 26, 2020 06:30 PM

A half-century ago, Frenchwoman Martine Saunier became the first woman to import wine to the U.S. The business she eventually created -- Martine’s Wines -- to this day adheres to the motto of its founder: “Quality is a must.” Martine’s portfolio is comprised of small, terroir-driven producers who consistently present outstanding expressions of their appellation and region.

Summit House is thrilled to invite you to a special small-group dinner in celebration of this superior importer, complete with an exquisitely paired meal and the chance to enhance your own collection. Following the event in our private dining room, limited Martine’s releases will be available for purchase exclusively at Summit House.

Wine discussion: Summit House general manager Justin Lord, a former sommelier at Michelin-rated Per Se in Manhattan, will open the reception, sharing his in-depth knowledge of the wines and regions guests will be enjoying.

Dinner: Summit House Chef de Cuisine Dean Michael Schreefer will present a curated four-course menu designed to highlight the intricacies of the paired wines. The meal also includes house-made charcuterie and cheese.

Wine Purchasing: Interested guests may place wine orders after the meal. Wines will be available for pickup at Summit House 3-6 days after the event.
